To get the most longevity from your Heirloom Portrait, we strongly recommend the following dress code:
Men and boys in dark suits or even tuxes. Preferrably white shirts
Women and girls in formal dresses, also dark coloured.
Toddlers may be in lighter clothing, boys should still have a necktie or bowtie.
Sleeveless or short sleeves can work well for young adult girls and under. Otherwise, long sleeves are the norm, but not critical.
Solid colours for everyone, please.
The dress code is not meant to feel limiting. Rather, it is to prevent your portrait from looking dated in the coming decades. Remember, an heirloom is around longer than your own lifetime!
